We are proud to introduce the thirteen inspirational women fronting the 2022 White Shirt Campaign.

Lisa Wilkinson

Journalist and Co-Host, The Project

Lisa Wilkinson is the multi-Walkley nominated award co-host of Chanel Ten’s The Project and one of the country's most admired and respected journalists.

“Getting behind the white shirt campaign is a no brainer for me. We need to find a cure for this unforgiving disease and this campaign is going to help us get there.”

Hanan Ibrahim

Model

Hanan Ibrahim is a model who is an advocate for diversity and inclusion. She was the first woman to walk Melbourne Fashion Festival’s runway wearing a hijab and since then has been championing for change.

“I am honoured to be involved in the 2022 Witchery White Shirt Campaign and help raise awareness and funds to fight ovarian cancer. It’s important to me to support worthy causes especially one which effect so many women everywhere.”

Julie Bishop

Chancellor Australian National University

Julie Bishop is the Chancellor of Australian National University. She previously served as Australia’s 38th Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2013 until 2018, the first female in that position.

Maria Thattil

Media Personality

Maria Thattil is a South-Asian Australian media personality, writer, activist and keynote speaker who won Miss Universe Australia in 2020.

“I am proud to support the Witchery White Shirt Campaign because 1 woman dies every 8 hours in Australia from ovarian cancer. I’m a part of this because the campaign is so much bigger than a white shirt, you or I. It’s vital ammo in the fight against the silent killer of people with ovaries. It will raise much needed funds for the OCRF to find an early detection test for ovarian cancer."

Emma Watkins

Entertainer

Emma Watkins is a beloved children’s entertainer who has recently launched a new character, Emma Memma.

“I have admired the Witchery White Shirt Campaign and the incredible funds they raise to fund research for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation year after year. I am proud to be involved in this year’s campaign and help spread awareness of how the horrible disease affects so many Australian women every day”.

Brittany Hockley

Podcaster, Radiographer, radio host and actor

Brittany Hockley is a radiographer who has worked in the medical field for over ten years. She is also the host of successful podcast and radio show Life Uncut. She is looking forward to expanding her expertise even further into acting.

Laura Byrne

Podcaster and Jewellery Designer

Laura Byrne is the founder and jewellery designer for ToniMay. She is also the host of popular podcast Life Uncut and radio show by the same name on KIIS Network alongside Brittany Hockley.

Kylie Gillies

TV Journalist

Kylie Gillies is a TV Journalist, known for co-hosting popular program The Morning Show on Channel 7.

“I’m thrilled to be involved in the 2022 Witchery White Shirt Campaign. It is an incredible cause which directly supports the research of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation to find an early detection test which is as readily available and accessible as a mammogram or pap smear. I am horrified by the statistics so I hope I can spread as much awareness as possible.”

Francesca Hung

Actor and TV Presenter

Francesca Hung is the face and host of E! Australia. The Australian model, media personality and Miss Universe Australia is also set to make her acting debut in the upcoming drama series The Good Hustle later in 2022.

Jesinta Franklin

Model

Jesinta Franklin is an author, model, mum, and spokesperson.

“I support the Witchery White Shirt Campaign with the hope to find an early detection test for ovarian cancer so that my loved ones and the women of Australia don’t face the impact of this disease in future.”

Thelma Plum

Artist

Thelma Plum is a Gamilaraay woman, musician and creator whose debut album Better In Blak is a story about culture, heritage, love, and pain. With incredible strength, courage and heartbreaking tenderness, her debut album captures so deftly what it’s like to be a young Aboriginal woman in Australia. The album became one of the most successful albums of 2019, nominated for 7 Arias and spawning 3 Platinum and one Gold singles. The title track “Better in Blak” came in the top 10 of the Triple J Hottest 100, at the time the highest result for an Indigenous artist ever.

“Being involved in the Witchery White Shirt Campaign has opened my eyes to not only the incredible work they are doing but more importantly the sheer scale of the problem that ovarian cancer presents to all women, wherever they are in the world. Allison Langdon

Journalist & co-host of Today Show

Allison Langdon is a respected Australian TV Journalist, best known as co-host on the Today Show on Channel 9.

“The Witchery White Shirt Campaign highlights the lack of early detection test for ovarian cancer and the need to find effective treatments that will save women’s lives. I am honoured to support the campaign and wear my White Shirt proudly to help raise awareness and bring attention to this insidious cancer. The statistics are cruel and heart breaking.”

Jordan Turner

Ovarian Cancer Survivor

OCRF Ambassador Jordan Turner is an ovarian cancer survivor, diagnosed at just 27 with a rare form of the disease, she has now been in remission for over two years.

“The White Shirt Campaign means a lot to me as someone who has lived through ovarian cancer. It is such an iconic fundraiser, showcasing a great partnership in the OCRF and Witchery. This campaign means that we can raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research and reach a much wider audience.”
